Ben, Gracie and I went to California to see my family. Ben stayed for 1 week (he had to get back to work) and Gracie and I stayed for 2. We had such a fun time and it really went by way to fast. The weather was beautiful and it was nice being with family.
One of the best parts was taking Gracie to Disneyland for the first time. Surprisingly it was not very crowed and we got to ride every ride we wanted ( some more than once). Grandma took off work and came with us. She got Grace the cute Minnie ears. We got there when the park opened and stayed until 9:30 that night. It was so much fun.
For the 4th everyone went down to the beach at Nora's and had a big slumber party. We all rode our bikes (7 bikes, 2 kid trailors, and an attachment bike) to the big parade in the morning. Gracie loved the parade and was very entertained for the first 2 of the 3 hours. We watched the fireworks that night from the pier.
Gracie really knew Alli this trip and loves her. When they see each other they run and give big hugs and Grace says "Alli". She lights up when when she sees her.
Some of the other things we did were: Went in the ocean, had a girls spa day, the street fair, lots of wagon rides, and played lots of wii.
We had visitors!

Gracie has some of the cutest outfits I think I have ever seen! Love it.
We had so much fun with you guys! Allison said, "I am so sad they are gone, but I think I go with Grandma when she flies to Texas." She already has it all planned out!
It was great to see you and Gracie last weekend. I can't believe how big she has gotten. I love the pic of her and Alli wearing the dress up clothes, it reminds me of a pic Katie has of you, Nora and her in dress up clothes on one of your D-ville trips. Also, Auntie Sue and Grace on Dumbo---love it..they both look so cute.

Emily, it's funny you say two weeks went by so fast because I totally know what you mean. I used to never stay at my mom's longer than a week but now whenever I go I always stay at least two! One just goes by too fast. I'm glad you had fun. Isn't it fun to take your child to Disneyland? I love it. We are going again next week because my sister is coming in from Ohio and wants to take her girls there. We go to Disneyland way too much for not living anywhere near it, but what can I say, I love it!
oh my gosh! how FUN. Im jealous I couldnt be there too! Gracie is getting so big and she's as cute as ever! I sure miss you em bo! Im coming home next weekend, I sure hope I get to see yall! Love you!
