The day before Christmas Eve we all gathered at Grandmas house for a little fun. The kids played, decorated sugar cookies, did crafts, looked at Christmas lights, and we had a nice dinner together.
We met at the Merkley's house in the early afternoon of Christmas Eve. The weather was beautiful (mid 70's) so we ate outside. The menu was soup and salad, and we did the traditional "program".
We got home from the Merkley's around 6. The girls loved opening their new princess nightgowns. They sprinkled reindeer food on the lawn, set out cookies for Santa, wrote Santa a note, and read a couple Christmas stories before heading to bed.
